Mrs. Clarice E. McIntosh, 86, a resident of the Rose Lane Health Center since November, was pronounced dead Sunday at 3:18 p.m. on arrival at the Massillon Community Hospital, where she was taken from the center. Her death followed a lengthy illness.

Born in Arkansas, Mrs. McIntosh formerly resided with her daughter, Mrs. C. Nelson (Clara) Stroble of 2945 Meadowwood St. N.W., Perry Township. She had resided in the Massillon area for the past 70 years and had been a self-employed seamstress. She was a member of the First Spiritualist Church and the Massilln Senior Citizens.

Her husband, Samuel McIntosh, died in 1931.

Besides her daughter she is survived by a son, Roger J. McIntosh of Apollo Beach, Fla., nine grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons.

Funeral arrangements are pending at the Arnold-Lynch-Miller Funeral Home.
