Michael Ray Sams, 50, of Riles Circle, Greeneville, died Friday morning at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

He attended Wayside Baptist Church.

His family said: "He love to fish, camp out, and cook. He was a devoted son and was dearly loved by his mother and brother."

Survivors include: his mother: Betty Sams of Greeneville; one brother: Terry Sams of Greeneville; several cousins, including special cousins Ronald David Ball Sr., Ronald David "Bubba" Ball Jr., and Courtney Ball.

He was preceded in death by his father: Russell Sams; and a sister: Debra Darlene Sams.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.

The Rev. Jeff Gibson will officiate.

Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ronald David Ball Sr., Ronald David "Bubba" Ball Jr., Brandon Hensley, Haskell Stills and Mike Ball.
