Joshua Lee "Josh" Coleman died in a single vehicle accident on Road 303 south of Montpelier on his way to school. He was a senior in the Class of 2005 at Blackford High School

Josh attended Montpelier Schools from K-12; where he made friendships that lasted a lifetime. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family and friends. His nephew Skyler held a very special place in his heart.

Josh had a smile that could light up a room and that could also tell anyone that knew him if he was up to something ornery. He could be counted on for some good times around the fire and just hanging out. He worked for McCammon Trucking and loved his job there.
Survivors include his parents, Cynthia Diane Coleman, a kindergarten teacher at Montpelier Elementary, and Lee Allen Coleman,a United States Postal Worker, Hartford City; grandparents, J. Charles and Patty Noble, Montpelier, and Mary Coleman, Florida; sisters, Amy Coleman, Franklin, and Angela Cook, Portland; and nephew, Skyler Cook, Portland.Josh's best friend is Andy Huffman; many many more will remain his close friends for always.

The senior class of 2005 started a "Click it for Coleman" campaign to help Josh's parent's raise awareness of the importance of seatbelts and also to raise funds for a Memorial Scholarship they created. Joshua has helped to save many lives through this seatbelt campaign.

Joshua's life was short but he lived each day to the fullest and it was full of Blessings; both to his family and to those who knew him. He will be forever remembered and always missed.
