JONES, ARLIS, age 83 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday December 12, 2010. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Powell and a former member of Grace Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II. Preceded in death by wife, Lena Jones and son, Alan Jones.
Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Kathy Jones; 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Wilda Kinzel; daughter-in-law, Mary Jones.
Family and friends will meet 11:15 am Wednesday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:30 am. Pastor Phil Jones officiating. Military honors presented by United Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Powell Building Fund, 7706 Ewing Road Powell, TN 37849. Family will receive friends 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home-Halls Chapel.
