b. September 7, 1836 in Georgia
d. October 3, 1880 in Daviston, Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Baron is the son of William Wesley Williams (b September 18, 1810 in Georgia – d aft 1880 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama) and Minerva Fannin (b February 1812 in Georgia – d. Tallapoosa County, Alabama) Enlisted April 26, 1861 at Unions Springs, Alabama by R. H. Powell; wounded June 27, 1862 at Mechanicsville; lost his right arm in action May 8, 1864 at the Battle of Spottsylvania. He married Louisiana Antinette Motley, the daughter of Coleman Pendleton Motley and Hester Ann Perkins.
