She became Professor and Head of the Domestic Science Dept. in the Agricultural College at KASC; a position she held until her 2 sons, John & Paul, finished college, then became Professor of Home Economics at Purdue University. Assumed role of Dean of Home Economics and Professor of Domestic Science at Oregon Agricultural College. Moved to Washington to become the specialist in Home Economics for the Federal Bureau of Education. Served as director of all home economic instruction in Philadelphia until her retirement in 1937. She was presented with the degree of Doctorate of Laws from Purdue University in 1938.
