Mr. Gerald Francis Engemann, 61, of Hermann, passed away Friday, October 16th, 2009.

Mr. Engemann was born in Washington, Missouri on September 12, 1948, the son of the late Geraldine (Gosen) and Joe Engemann who survives him of Hermann, Missouri.

He was self employed as the co-owner and operator of Tri-County Trucking and Excavating in Hermann since 1973, Owner of Hermann Sand & Gravel, Co-Owner of Mid- Missouri Concrete Inc. Montgomery City, MO, and Co-Owner of Engemann Farms.

Mr. Engemann was very active in several organizations in and around his home of Hermann, those included St. George Church; member and past president of Hermann Area Chamber of Commerce; American Legion at Rhineland, Mo; Knights of Columbus; board member and past president of Missouri Dump Truckers Assoc.; past board member of Warren County Soil and Water conservation District; Member of MLDDA; Missouri Concrete Association; Ruffed Grouse Society; Gore Case Community Club.

He was the husband of Melba (Haselroth) Engemann. they were married May 24, 1969 at St. Joseph's Church, Rhineland, Mo

He is survived by his wife Melba; by his father Joe Engemann Jr. and wife Leona of Hermann; by two sons Tim Engemann & wife Melissa, of Hermann and Steve Engemann and wife Kate of Hermann; by three Brothers: Paul Engemann & wife Belinda of Hermann, Denis Engemann and wife Carla of Hermann, and Tom and wife Cathy of Rhineland; by four sisters Joyce Heuer and husband Mike of Kansas City, Kansas, Susan Kitchen and husband Rick of Columbia, Rosie Branson and husband Donnie of Berger, Teresa Wheeler and husband Scott of Carmel, Indiana; by two sister-in-laws: Debbie Stewart and husband Jeff of House Springs and Brenda Kempker and husband Roger of Fulton, and by his father-in-law: Leslie Hasselroth of Hermann. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Emily, Gabriella, Ava and Ben Engemann.

Visitation will be Monday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. George Church,Hermann, Missouri, with a rosary service Monday at 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at St. George Church, Hermann, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20th, with Father Bill Debo officiating.

Private Graveside Services St. Anthony's Cemetery Case, Missouri.
