Linda Kay Kidd, 65, of Springville, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2012 at her residence. Born February 10, 1947 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Frank C. and Pauline LaVera (Porter) Brummett. She retired from RCA after 18 years of service and was a member of the Owensburg Baptist Church. She will be missed by all that loved and knew her.
Surviving relatives include: her daughter and son, Tonya and Roy Jones Jr. of Springville; grandson, Dale Jones of Springville; one sister, Diana (Donnie) McCloud of Owensburg; brother, Bill (Jessica) Brummett of Bloomfield; nieces and nephews, Debbie (Fred) Wright of Bloomfield, Dwane McCloud of Bloomfield and Danny (Sherry) McCloud of Bedford; great nieces and nephews, Delaine (Adam) Brown of Springville, DeLisa McCloud of Linton, Darren McCloud of Bedford, Dawn Jessica (Chazz) Pate of Florence, Alabama and Dalton McCloud of Bedford; great, great, nieces and nephews, Vivian Brown and Jace Brown of Springville and Ava Pate of Florence, Alabama; Randi Browning and Steven Waldridge whom she loved as her own; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Kenny Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Springville cemetery west. Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 1 hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Owensburg Baptist Church.
