Cause of death awaits an autopsy report by Allen County Coroner Dr. William Noble. He apparently died about 7 p.m. Friday while mowing grass.
Born June 15, 1911, in Royalton, Ky., he was the son of Alexander Dotson. He was a self-employed salesman for Elson Products.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Terry (Patricia) Bishop of 4444 Ottawa Rd.; two brothers, Berly of Ada and Norman of Ivyton, Ky.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Chiles and Sons - Laman West Wayne Street Chapel, Rev. Ronald Cannon officiating with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
