Gary McGrew, 48, of Marshalltown, died August 19 of cancer at home. Memorial services at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marshalltown, burial of the cremains in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. McGrew was born in Grinnell and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Franciscans.
Survivors include his wife Christine, daughters Regina McGrew of Austin Minnesota, and Samantha McGrew of Marshalltown, his mother Wilma McGrew of Gilman, and a brother Dale of Marshalltown, sisters Janet Van Wyk of Pella, and Marjorie Coppock of Marshalltown.
