Joe Wendell Harmon age 79 of
Lawrenceville, Georgia formerly of Harriman passed away Monday November 12, 2012
at Embracing Hospice Care. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was retired from AT
& T as technician following 45 years of service.; Joe was a veteran of the U S
Navy having served during the Korean War as a gunner on the USS T.E. Chandler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Everett Harmon, sister
Vivian.

Wife Betty Harmon of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Sons Craig
Harmon & wife Jan of Between, Georgia; Jeff Harmon of Conyers,
Georgia.
Brothers Clyde Harmon & wife Shirley of Harriman, Homer Harmon & wife
Wanda of Harriman, Tennessee.
Granddaughters Valoree Harmon of Paris,
Illinois,Rebecca Harmon of Conyers, Georgia; Grandson Tyler Harmon of Conyers,
Georgia.
Funeral 2 PM Saturday at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman with
entombment in Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to
8 PM Friday at Kyker Funeral Home
