Lacey Cox, 69, of Jacksboro, died Friday at LaFollette Community Hospital.
He was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Dorotha Cox; daughters, Ruby Cox Madison of Jacksboro, Mrs. Beulah Bailey of Jacksboro, Mrs. Laura Basel and Mrs. Mary Moore of Florida, Mrs. Joyce Kirklen of Knoxville, Mrs. Mammie Marlow of Ohio; sons, David Johnson of Jacksboro, Harold Johnson of Knoxville, Arnold and Wallace Johnson of Florida, Arvill Johnson of Michigan; 42 grandchildren; brother, Luther Cox of Jacksboro; sisters, Mrs. Bertha Bailey of Lake City, Mrs. Pearly Easter of Kingston, Mrs. Mae Viars of Lenoir City.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mt. Paran Baptist Church by the Rev. Don Whitted and Rev. Alva H. Gough. Burial was in Mt. Paran Cemetery. Cross Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
