A funeral for William Riehl of Southeast Portland will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Holman's Funeral Service. Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Riehl, a retired railroad car inspector, died of a heart attack March 23 in a Portland hospital. He was 87.
He was born in Winnepeg, Manitoba, on Jan. 6, 1905. He moved to Portland with his family while he was still a boy. He worked for Southern Pacific railroad at the Brooklyn Yards for more than 45 years before retiring in 1976.
His wife, Elsie, died in 1976.
Survivors include his brother, Fred of Eugene; sister, Elsie Robertson of Alberta; and brother, Arthur of Alberta.
