BRANSON PETER TYNAN BRANSON (Age 54) Lost his valiant battle against lung cancer and died gently in the arms of his youngest sister, Serena on the evening of March 29, 2008 at The Community Hospice Center. A fifth generation Washingtonian, Peter is survived by his beloved son, William Scott age 11 and by his six siblings, as well as his nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at JOSEPH GAWLERS SONS, INC., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW ( Corner of Harrison St.) Washington, DC on Wednesday, April 2 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 3 at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Western Ave., and Quesda St., NW, Washington, DC. The family has requested that memorial contributions in Peter's name be made to Vanderbilt University, GI Cancer Center, Attn: Dr. Robert J. Coffey, Professor of Medicine, 465 21st Ave. South, Ste. 4140, MRB III, Nashville, TN 37232-8355.
