Roger E. Ganger died Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Maxine Hinton Ganger; a son, Bruce H. Ganger and daughter Carol V. King, both of Fredericksburg, Va., three grandsons and two granddaughters, all of Fredericksburg.
Mr. Ganger retired from the Federal Government, Treasury Department in 1973 after 31 years of service. After retirement, he settled in the White Stone area. In June 1998, he and his family relocated to Fredericksburg, Va., because of his ailing health.
He and his wife have been members of Farnham Baptist Church, Farnham, Va. His wife, Maxine was born and raised in the area and have been affiliated with Farnham Baptist Church over a period of years. A Graveside service was held December 1, there at the church cemetery, with Rev. Jim Rowland , Pastor of Farnham Baptist Church officiating.
