The book "History and Folklore of Searcy County, Arkansas" 1977 edited by Mary Frances Harrell, printed by New Leaf Press, Inc. Harriosn, AR indicates in records from Coffman Funeral Home from 1937 - 1940 that Mr. Lewellen was buried in Horton Cemetery. There is indication that he may have had residence in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. His wife was Anna Lorenson. His father was Jim Lewellen. This information is found on page 244 of this book. We find no indication that Mr. Lewellen was related to either the Horton's or the Treat's but suspect he may have had some connection to these families if he was buried in this remote cemetery.
