Funeral services were conducted at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Harper Funeral Home, Peshtigo, Wisconsin for Jacob Armbruster, 86, of Porterfield, Wis., who died Friday
at a Peshtigo convalescent home. The Rev. James Talmadge officiated and burial was in Harmony Cemetery.
Armbruster was born in Germany March 9, 1876, and came to the United States when 16 years of age. He was a woodsman and farmer until his retirement in 1943.
Surviving are four daughters: Irene Rosinsky (Mrs. Roy Rosinsky) and Leona Wells of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Evelyn Cherny(Mrs. Bonzal Cherny) of Port Washington, Wisconsin and Mrs. Marian Pearl (Clarence) Ziebell [5/18/1909-1/14/1993] of Phoenix, Arizona and a son Jacob Armbruster of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren.
