The funeral services of the late Rev. R. C. Wooster, who died suddenly yesterday at Cedartown, Ga., will be held from the McCormick funeral parlor this afternoon at 5:30 o'clock. Interment will folloiw in Elmwood cemetery. Rev. Mr. Wooster's death came rather unexpectedly. He had been sick with pneumoinia and his wife and child were summoned to his bedside but he died before they reached him. At the time of his death he was traveling in interest of a Georgia college.

Mr. Wooster was quite well known in Columbia, having married Miss Thelia Gaines of this city. She was here when advise of his illness. He had been living in Savannah recently. At one time he was connected with the reportorial force of the Savannah Morning News. He was a graduate of Yale University and a Baptist Theological seminary. He entered the Baptist ministry and was chiefly known for his humanitarian work.

William D. Upshaw of Atlanta, the well known Lecturer, who came to Columbia with the funeral party today paid a high tribute to Mr. Wooster's memory. "He was a most remarkable man of brilliant intellect." Mr. Upshaw was a personal friend of Mr. Wooster and was deeply grieved by his death.
