Margaret Venice Henshaw, 83, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
Born April 2, 1926, in Roanoke, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Claudia Daniel Collier and William Berry Collier.
A graduate of J.W. Cannon High School, Mrs. Henshaw was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Stearns; sister Sarah Howell; brother Billy Collier; grandson, Lloyd J. Harding. Preceded in death by husbands Cecil Harding, James Edward Stearns and Jack Henshaw.
Survivors include her sons, Warren Harding (Peggy) of Salisbury, Kevin Harding of South Carolina and Richard Stearns Miller of Florida; daughters Becky Harding Shook of Salisbury, Sharon Patrick of Georgia, Sandra Dill of South Carolina and Kelly Harding Sugg of Kinston; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Henshaw will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks, 820 Klumac Road, Salisbury, NC 28144.
