Harold lived in Kelso-Longview, Washington, Opheim, MT, Fort Peck, Glasgow, and Nashua, Montana. He attended schools in Fort Peck, Glasgow, and graduated from Nashua High School in 1972. He then attended college at the University of Montana.

Serving in the U.S. Navy, Harold lived in Colorado, Arkansas, California, and Utah. He worked for a while at the Saco Dehy Company in Saco, Montana, was in the U.S. Navy in San Diego, and also worked for the Army Corp of Engineers and with a Seismograph Crew drilling for oil. He was the owner-operator of his upholstery shop the past 12 years.

Preceded in death by a sister Charlotte Wright in January of 2003 and a brother Stan Reddick in February of 2008.
