The Brewster standard., April 12, 1918 - died of heart disease - born in Connersville, Indiana, his parents died while he was young. Mr and Mrs Charles Frost and their son Hyatt were his earliest recollection of home and home companions. He was especially fond of horses. His driving, unassisted, to 24 horses drawing the band wagon of the old Amburgh Circus and Menagerie, was a feat never attempted by any other reinsman. The leaders of the team 60 feet away seemed to know who held the reins and cracked the whip. They stepped proudly to the time of the music, The driver and his team were known and enthusiastically welcomed in every state the union. When the Amburgh show left the road, he continued with Howes Great London Show.
Married in Jan 1870 Rachel Bailey.
Four children were born to them. The youngest daughter, Alta, died several years ago. Jennis, Wife of A F Lobdell, Edward B and Charles, survive.
