Chuck graduated from Harrisburg's Catholic High School in 1954. After attending Fordham University in New York City, he launched a career in sales, earning the distinguished honor as the top salesman for several businesses, including Berg Electronics. He was later a pioneer in the vacation time-sharing industry as both a salesman and trainer/ manager for some of the finest resorts in America.
Chuck then saw a need and filled it by opening The Solar Energy Center, and in 1994, he fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening the award-winning Restaurant On Chocolate. After enjoying several years of success, he retired.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael and leaves to celebrate his life, his sister Mary Eleanor Patterson and his former spouse, Marjorie (Furjanic).
