Oliver Blaine Gosnell, 68, of Timmonsville, S.C., died Monday morning at his home.

Mr. Gosnell was a retired general contractor.

He attended Redemption Outreach Church in Florence, S.C.

Survivors include his wife of more than 43 years: Annamay Gosnell; a son and daughter-in-law: Robert "Bob" and Renee Gosnell of Branchville, S.C.; three daughters and two sons-in-law: Brenda Broyles of Telford, Kathy and Ray Morris of Mayesville, S.C., and Lisa and Mike Baptist of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother: Everette Gosnell; three sisters and a brother-in-law: Reva Dean Sauceman, Eunav and Walt Wilcox of Greeneville, and Alice Shelton of Litchfield, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a son of the late Robert "Doc" and Bemirtie Shelton Gosnell and was preceded in death by a daughter: Patricia Chappell; five sisters: Eunice Gosnell, Lily Shelton, Eliza Shelton, Mary Collins, and Ruby Hart; and six brothers: Jim Gosnell, Chester Gosnell, Bill Gosnell, Bob Gosnell, Earnest Gosnell, and Dewey Gosnell.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Mount Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Raymond Perry, the Rev. Ray Dean Mysinger, and the Rev. Stan Kennedy will officiate.

Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bob Gosnell, Derek Gosnell, Jody Gosnell, Phil Sauceman, Gary Sexton, Glenn Gosnell, Randy Gosnell, and Tony Roe.
