Born 1911 in Denison Township, she was a former school teacher and taught in Bridgeport for six years. She and her husband, Herbert, now deceased, moved to Biloxi in 1971.
Survivors include a son, Jon, of Biloxi, and two daughters, Linda Schuru, Muncie, Ind., and Diane Johnson, Largo, Fla.; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Doris Rice, Lawrenceville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Minor officiating. Smith Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, is in chrge of arrangements
