Ada O. Gibson, 90, of Coshocton, Ohio, formerly of Joker, died Wednesday, May 18, 1994, at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, Coshocton, after a brief illness.

She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Husk Kerby. She was a charter member of the Tecumseh Free Will Baptish Church, Tecumseh, Mich.

Surviving are three daughters, Betty Williams of Cleveland, Estella Buckus of Rootstown, Ohio, and Doris Asbury of West Lafayette, Ohio; four sons, Eugene Gibson of Xenia, Ohio, Okey Gibson of Kent, Ohio, Leon Gibson of Tecumseh, and Edward Gibson of Newcomerstown, Ohio; three sisters, Elah Gibson of Mt. Zion, Lucille Basnett of Big Bend and Helena Bennett of Elyria, Ohio; two brothers, Holly Kirby of Mt. Zion and Fred Kirby of Grantsville; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Snowden Gibson; one daughter, Edra Rogers; three sons, Vernon Gibson, Arlin Gibson and Donald Gibson; and three brothers.

Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Glendon McKee officiating. Burial was in Bryner Chapel Church Cemetery near Mt. Zion.
