Wife of Capt. John Stewart. He is very likely buried close to her, his grave marked with simple fieldstones.

"John Stewart, married Hannah Dalton in 1814 and their family consisted of six children: four boys and two girls. Captain Stewart served with honor in the state militia and was involved with the War of 1812, later serving as a representative from Warner from 1838 - 39 and in 1842. Unfortunately, Hannah, was thrown from a wagon and died on September 24, 1834. John, their youngest child, was six years old at the time.
Marinda, the oldest daughter, married James Bean and died at the age of thirty. James then married Marinda's younger sister Mary six months later.

Capt. John Stewart died in 1851 at the age of sixty-four."
