Funeral services for T.L. Goins, 71, of Salina, will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM at Key Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor. Rev. Kevin Webster will officiate. Mr. Goins passed away on Sunday in Salina. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
T.L. was born on February 1, 1940 in Salina to Vasco and Marie (Dearmond) Goins. He grew up and attended school at Wickliff. He moved to Kansas at the age of 16 then lived in several places in his lifetime. He owned and operated car lots in Florida in the late 60's and lived a brief time in Tennessee . He moved back to Salina in 1985 and also owned a car lot there. He retired a few years ago, then enjoyed life on his farm in Salina. He liked to fish and care for his cattle, who he thought of as pets instead of livestock.
Survivors include:
1 Son- Terry Goins and wife Nancy of Franklin, TN
2 Grandchildren- Jacob Goins and Hannah Goins of Franklin, TN
1 Sister- Helen Meade of Arkansas
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.
