Dr. Eby was born November 13, 1921.
She completed her early schooling in Tyler Texas in 1940 and her pre-medical education at the University of Texas in 1942.
She enrolled the same year at Loyola School of Medicine in Chicago. Under the heavy presence of the war era she graduated in 1945 with high honors at the remarkable age of 23 years.
Following an internship at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, N.Y., she served residencies in Willard Parker Hospital and the post graduate hospital of New York City and was certified by the national board of medical examiners.
Preceding her untimely death she was planning to enter medical practice in her chosen field of internal medicine in her home city of Tyler Texas.
On March 7, 1948, while enroute to the mountains for a few hours of recreation at skiing, Dr. Eby was instantly killed in a tragic automobile accident in New York state.
