OBITUARY :
WILLIAM GLENN PHEIL, 69, of 70 Broadway, died at the Washington County Hospital Thursday morning at 1:30 of complications after a lengthy illness.

Born at Williamson, Pa., he was a son of the late Martin L. and Clara (Dietrich) Pheil. He was a member of Friendship Lodge No. 84, AF&AM, Hagerstown; and of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Hagerstown Forest No. 95; the Potomac Fish and Game Club; the Halfway Fire Company; the Fraternal Order of Police.

He was branch manager of the American Oil Company, Hagerstown office for the past 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lela (Jones) Pheil; daughters, Mrs. Gwendolyn Stephany, Lansing, Mich.; Mrs. Janice Bowers, Huntington, W.Va.; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro with the Rev. Lester M. Kauffman officiating. Burial will be made in Boonsboro Cemetery.

Graveside services will be conducted by Lodge 84 AF&AM, Hagerstown.
