MULLINS — Mrs. Sandra Yow Jackson, 54, wife of Charles Gregory Jackson, died Friday, July 28, 2006, in McLeod Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Forbes and the Rev. Marvin Lynch officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.

Sandra was born November 29, 1951, in Whiteville, N.C., a daughter of Frances McKeithan Yow and the late Ralph Joseph Yow Sr. She was a kindergarten teacher for 30 years with North Mullins Primary and Mullins Early Childhood Center (MECC). She was a graduate of Whiteville High School and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Sandra was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, where she was active in many capacities of the church.

Surviving Sandra, in addition to her husband of the home, are her mother, Frances McKeithan Yow of Whiteville, N.C.; sons, Scott Gregory Jackson and Patrick Joseph Jackson, both of the home; a sister, Teresa Yow Stanley of Wilmington, N.C.; her father-in-law, Bobby Jackson and his wife, Dixie, of Fries, Va.; and several special nieces and nephews.

Sandra was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Yow Mills, and a brother, Ralph Joseph Yow Jr.

Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church, 13403 Hwy. 19, Nichols, SC 29581.

Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6 til 8 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
