NAMPA — Services for Nicholas James Barnett, 92, of 1615 Eighth Street South, Nampa, who died Wednesday in a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Flahiff Chapel, Nampa, by the Revs. Alvin L. McQuay and Clarence J. Kinzler, College Church of the Nazarene, and John O. Anderson, Crossroads Assembly of God Church, Wilder. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 4, 1884, in Hardin County, Iowa, and moved with his family to Fullerton, Neb., where he was reared and educated.

He married Jessie Isabell Schroeder, Oct. 10, 1910, in Fullerton. They lived there until 1933, when they moved to Homedale, where he farmed and did custom orchard work. She died Oct. 7, 1970, and he moved to Nampa.

He was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God Church but attended College Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are four sons, Harold L., Klamath Falls, Ore., Kenneth V., Lancaster, Calif., Cecil L., Vale, and Robert C., Nampa; a daughter, Mrs. Gail (Mildred) Cassens, Nampa; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
