Andrew A Barrick, RD3, Newville, a retired farmer, died on Saturday in the Carlisle Hospital. He was 85 years old.
He was born in Cumberland County this son of the late John Andrew and Myra Gilbert Barrick. He had been the custodian of the Upper Frankford Brick Church for the last 13 years. He was a member of the Mt Hope Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Mary Ellen Stump Barrick; three sons, Earl E, Elkhart, Ind.; Coyle E, Harrisburg, and T Andrew, Ft Wayne Ind.; four daughters, Mrs Edna R Garman, Waynesboro; Mrs George Cohick, RD3 Newville; Mrs Homer Armolt, RD4, and Mrs Robert Graver, Plainfield; a brother Frank B Barrick, Mt Holly Springs; a sister, Mrs Martha Garman, Elkhart, Ind., 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Shulenberger and Roth Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. Burial will be in the Upper Frankford Brick Church Cemetery.
