Frankfort - Seriously ill two weeks, James P. Allie, 83, died at 9:15 p.m. Monday at the home of a son, William, 1402 Oak Street. He was born in Boyd County, Kentucky, January 7, 1853. His first wife, Alice Fisher, and his second one, Loretta Shoop, both preceded him in death. He was a member and deacon of the Baptist Church here. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith Fortinberry and Mrs. Fannie Wilson, of Michigan City, and Mrs. Malissa Shaw, of Fowler; six sons, Felix, Eagle Grove, Iowa, Bascom, Indiana, Boyd, Jewell, Iowa, Shelar, Webster City, Iowa, Charles of near here, and William, at whose home he died. The funeral will be held at the Baptist Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. H. N. Spear officiating, and burial in IOOF Cemetery.
