Funeral services for Jacob Logan Simpson will be held at 10 am, Monday, November 12, 2012 in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Michael Evans officiating. Committal services will follow in the Butter Cemetery of Forest Hill under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Jacob, 15, of Lecompte, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. He was born on April 18, 1997 in Alexandria to the union of Kevin Simpson and Joedy Carter. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Eugene Simpson and his grandmother, Connie Willis.
He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, his father and step-mother, Kevin and Ashley Simpson of Lecompte; his mother, Joedy Carter of Glenmora; two brothers, Daniel Doyle and wife Lakean of Lake Charles and Tim Wade of Lecompte; three sisters, Lenora Smith and husband Sean of Lake Charles, Danielle Nicole Simpson of Woodworth, and Courtney Lynn Simpson of Lecompte; grandparents, Katherine Simpson of Woodworth, Sammy Bordeleon of Woodworth, Patricia and Mike Briggs of Lecompte; two nephews, S. J.
