Arthur Raymond Crowther, Sr., 83, of Heathsville, died Saturday, March 14, 1998, in Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury Health Care Center, Irvington. He was a member of Corinth United Methodist Church, and a retired postal official.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Elise Bray Crowther; a son, Arthur R. Crowther, Jr. of Heathsville; a daughter, Dorothy Lee Fields of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a sister, Margaret C. Martino of Callao.
Funeral servies were held March 18, at Jones-Ash Funeral Home, Rainswood, with the Rev. H. Allen Redd officiating. Interment was in Corinth United Methodist Church Cemetery, Heathsville. Pallbearers were Julian Fields, William Martino, Andrew J. Beaulieu, Allen Beaulieu, Andy Beaulieu, Gregory Fields and A.B. Crowther.
