Born in Exeter, May 4, 1910, she was daughter of the late Michael and Mary Franko Balint.
She was educated in the Exeter public school system.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plains, and its Altar Rosary Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Shedlock Sr., in 1984; brothers Andrew, Stephen, George, Joseph, John and Michael Balint; and sisters Mrs. Anna Brek and Mrs. Mary Petrick.
Surviving are her daughters, Elizabeth Shedlock, Plains, with whom she resided; Mrs. Mildred Tirpak, Plains; sons Joseph G. Shedlock Jr., James Shedlock and Robert Shedlock, all of Plains; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Mrs. Julia Ritzie, Camp Hill; Mrs. Susan Laginza, Exeter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Simon S. Russin Funeral Home Inc., 136 Maffett St., Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plains, with the Rev. Robert E. Burnett officiating.
Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Plains.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
Christian Wake Service will be Monday with the Rev. Robert E. Burnett officiating.
