Surrounded by her children, Beulah Mae Carter Robinson went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2012, at Riverside Health and Rehab Center in Danville.

Born November 18, 1924, in Swansonville (Pittsylvania County), she was the daughter of the late Willie Tanner Carter and Alease Leftwich Carter.

She was the eighth of 11 children.

At an early age, she was baptized in the body of Christ and joined the Rosebud Baptist Church and later moved her membership to the Tarpley's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

On May 30, 1942, Beulah and Paul were joined in holy matrimony by the Rev. D. D. Dodd. From their union came 11 children.

She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Willie P. Robinson; her daughter, Beulah; her sons, Willie Paul Robinson Jr and Ernest M. Robinson.

Graveside rites will be conducted Friday, Nov. 9, at 1:00 p.m. at Tarpley's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 16156 Mount Cross Road, Dry Fork, Va. 24549, by her grandson, Rev. Tyler Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 8, at Miller Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. and other times at the residence of a son and daughter-in-law, Sammie L. and Maybell Robinson, 2808 Marion Road, Chatham.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Riverside Health and Rehab Center, 2344 Riverside Drive, Danville, Va. 24540.
