(ROANOKE) Teresa Holley Reid, 39, of Roanoke died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, on Highway 431 south of Roanoke in the Stroud community.
Mrs. Reid had worked at The Randolph Leader, Roanoke Utilities Board and Randolph County Revenue Commission office and was a local manager for Primerica Insurance Company. At the time of her death, she was employed at Intercall in West Point, Ga. She was a member of East Roanoke Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Reid of Roanoke; four sisters, Barbara Slaughter, Linda Rowland, Gloria Wright and Sara Billingslea, all of Roanoke; one brother, Gregory
Holley of Opelika; her mother-in-law, Alice Reid of Franklin, Ga.; her father-in-law, Willie Shears of Roanoke; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Reid were Saturday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at East Roanoke Church of God, with Bishop Wade Wright officiating. Interment was in Sky View Memorial Gardens, Welch.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Lee Holley; and her mother, Lela Pearl Ridley Holley.
Pallbearers were Howard Cofield, Willie Paul Evans, Donnie Hines, Willie Reid, Lamont Rowland and Patrick Rowland.
Arrangements were by Silmon Mortuary, Roanoke.
