Mrs. Shirley Faye Cooper Wimmer, age 56, of Whitewood, Virginia, died Saturday, December 4th, 2004 at her home on Compton Mountain near Whitewood, Virginia following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Buchanan County, Virginia and was a daughter of Mrs. Katie Bertha Boyd Cooper of Whitewood, Virginia and the late Mr. Charlie ?Scrap Iron? Cooper. She was a lifelong resident of the Buchanan County area ,was a 1967 graduate of Whitewood High School, and a member of the Whitewood House of Worship.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Faye Cooper Wimmer will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with Rev. Jimmy Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Grizzle Family Cemetery at Whitewood, Virginia. Relatives and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
