John F. "Johnny" Broyles, age 76, of Gallipolis, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Holzer Senior care Center.
Born March 8, 1936, in Gallipolis. He was the son of the late John L. and Adeldia Stover Broyles.
Johnny was a faithful employee of Holzer Hospital for 20 years and loved by all who knew him.
Johnny had been seriously ill for the last four months, but has now gone on to his reward in Heaven, as Johnny loved his Lord and witnessed to many of God's Love and Saving Grace.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Jo Shamblin Broyles. They were married May 11, 1966, in Gallipolis.
Johnny is also survived by two sisters, Phyllis Carroll of Bidwell, and Ethel (Bill) Hurlow of Groveport, OH., one brother, Larry (Bonnie) Broyles of Gallipolis, two aunts, Charlotte Reeder of Jefferson, OH., And Mary Knauer of Worthington, OH. Johnny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 22 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Reynolds Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
