Mrs. Saundra Arnaud Fournet
1951 - 2012

"But you are a shield around me, O Lord; You bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the Lord I cry aloud and He answers me from His holy hill." Psalm 3:3

Saundra Arnaud Fournet, 60, was called home by her Savior, on Thursday, November 8, 2012, following a long and valiant battle with cancer.

Born in Lake Charles to Louis Dempsey and Dorothy Elizabeth Browne Arnaud, Mrs. Fournet was a 1969 graduate of LaGrange High School and attended McNeese State University. She was a realtor from 1973 and received her GRI in 1976. She was an active and respected member of the Southwest Louisiana Association of Realtors, serving in various positions and committees. She was the owner and agent of Saundra Bridges Real Estate, Inc. for the last fifteen years. Mrs. Fournet was a member of Siloam Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana. She loved her wooded get-away in Toledo Bend, and she and her husband savored the joy of God's blessings and creation in the time they spent there. She delighted in sharing good times at their lake house with friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Kevin J. Fournet, and two nephews, Dustin Grady and wife Rhonda and Matthew Grady.

Mrs. Fournet was preceded in death by her beloved son, John "JB" Bridges; her parents; her brother, Gary Wayne Arnaud; and her sister, Gayle Louise Viator.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Home. Wilton Anthony and Ronnie Estes will officiate. Interment will be at Prien Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until service time.

Memorial donations may be made to Siloam Baptist Church, 35480 Hwy. 191, Many, LA 71449 or to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home, P. O. Box 4196, Monroe, LA 71211.
