Mrs. Mary Stein Dies Suddenly At Home On Sunday
Mrs. Mary Stein, 70, of 2415 N. Twenty-second street, widow of the late Adam Stein, and for the past five years a resident of this city, passed away suddenly Sunday morning at 6 o'clock at her home. Mrs. Stein was born Oct 13, 1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Hoffmann. She was married in 1892 to Adam Stein at St. Fidelis church in Spring Valley. Her husband preceded her in death on Oct. 4 1920. Two sons also preceded her in death, one having died in infancy. Survivors are three sons, Alex, Theodore, and Joseph, all of Sheboygan; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Leider of Valders, Mrs. Matt Kleckner of Cleveland, and Mrs. Norbert Miller of Sheboygan; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Stein of St. Wendel; nine grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a. m. at the Gerend Funeral Home and 9:30 a. m. with a requim mass, at St. Fidelis church, Spring Valley. Rev. Edward Wagner will officiate and internment will be made in the Stein lot in the church cemetery. Friend and relatives may view the body which lies in state at the Gerend Funeral Home from 7:30 o'clock this evening until the time of the services.
