Andrew, among the earliest settlers at Hare Mountain as the Killarney district was then known. He came west with his uncle William and arrived in the spring of 1882. They first homesteaded a mile east of Boissevain, s/o John A. Riddle, b. February 1830, Scotland, buried Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton, ON, 1911.
His wife, a Custer from Trumbull Co., OH., b. 1864. She was a twin.
Martha J. Kirkland, was born June 01, 1886 at Evart, MI at the Judah Custer home, Evart Twp., Osceola Co., MI.
