Inez Lower was born April 23, 1920 in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of Christian and Agda Nelson. She attended grade schools in Boise and graduated from Franklin High School in 1938.
She married Kenneth E. Lower of Meridian, September 22, 1945. They farmed until his death in January, 1980. She retired in 1985 and moved to a new home in Meridian, Idaho in 1986.
In retirement Inez enjoyed bowling, golf, being with friends and family. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of America and was a very active volunteer and member of the St. Alphonsus Auxiliary.
Inez is survived by her son, David Lower, and wife, Laura Lower, of Eagle, Idaho; her daughter, Judith Lower-Hamblin, of Boise; two grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Lower, 1980; and brothers, Roy Nelson, Boise, and John Nelson, Tucson, AZ.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Cloverdale Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Cloverdale Memorial Park.
