Loreda was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on December 20, 1916. Mom passed peacefully on November 8, 2012 and entered Heaven's gate where she is resting in the arms of our Savior. Loreda loved the Lord and was a member of Meadows Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. She was the perfect example of what a mother should be and will be remembered and missed by everyone's life she touched. Loreda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Chester E. Baucom; parents Thomas and Magnolia Abercrombie; brothers Harold, J.W., and Olan Abercrombie; and grandson Dr. John Cloninger. Loreda is survived by brothers Chester Ray and Waymon Abercrombie, three daughters & sons-in-law, Wanda & Jess Mills of Wylie, Lynda & Kim Blake of Richardson, and Shirley & Ken Wray of Carrollton; 3 grandsons; and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm before the service celebrating her life at 2:00pm. The service will be held at the Hughes Crown Hill Funeral Home, 9700 Webb Chapel Rd., Dallas, TX 75220. Immediately following the service, the Interment will be at Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX 75225.
