Lisa D'Shawn Martinez, 33, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, in Dallas.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in South Georgia Baptist Church with Bob Miller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St.

Lisa was born Sept. 20, 1979, in Plainview to Joe and Thelma Morales Martinez. She moved to Amarillo in 1998 from Floydada.

Lisa was a model daughter, sister and aunt. She graduated from Floydada High School. She graduated from West Texas A&M
University with a bachelor's degree in biology and a
master's degree in technical engineering.

She worked at Atmos Energy for 10 years. Most recenetly, she was employed as a technical engineer at Pantex. Lisa loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church. Lisa was a loving friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her parents, Joe and Thelma Martinez of Amarillo; a sister, Laci D'Layne Martinez-Hays and husband Zach of Amarillo; and a precious niece, Abri Hays.

The family suggests memorials be to Pantex Christmas Project, P.O. Box 30020, Amarillo, TX 79120

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
