Lucinda "Cindy" Kay Douglas, 59, of Marietta, died Sunday (March 25, 2012) at her home.

She was born Sept. 8, 1952, in Richwood, W.Va., to Eugene and Melba Kirkland Trivolette. She was a graduate of Richwood High School and Glenville State College. She had worked at Huntington Bank in Parkersburg. Cindy was a member of the Williams Creek Baptist Church and had attended the First Baptist Church in Marietta. She enjoyed the Tuesday Afternoon St. Paul's Women's Bible Study Group. She was a member of the Betsey Mills Club and enjoyed her swim class there. She was also a member of the Pioneer Sam's Camping Club.

Cindy is survived by her mother of Richwood; her husband, John Michael Douglas, whom she married on July 14, 1989; son, Jeffrey Gawthrop (Charlotte) of Sweden; daughter, Melanie Oakley (Kevin) of Venetia, Pa.; son, Matthew Allen Douglas of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren, Avery, Sydney and Alexander; two brothers, Danny Trivolette (Jana) and James Trivolette (Karen), all of Richwood, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday (March 29, 2012) at Williams Creek Baptist Church, 681 Access Road, Williamstown, with Pastor Mike Horner officiating. The family will greet friends at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also for one hour prior to her service at the church on Thursday.
