Jeanne Marie Kinstler Kurtzahn, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, passed away May 13, 2001 in Atlanta, GA.

She received her B.A. from Hollins College in Roanoke, VA, she also worked towards her masters in speech pathology and audiology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.

She taught High School English in Circle Pines, MN, St. Petersburg and Orlando, FL. Her interests included acting, reading, old movies, concerts, opera, hummingbirds and she had a special love for St. Simons Island, GA.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Kurtzahn; daughter, Anne Marie and son, Michael Frank of Atlanta, GA; cousins, Nellie Jane Neal and Dr. Walter K. Yates of Huntington, WV; and numerous relatives in the Minneapolis area.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Oglethorpe Hill. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17th, 2001 at Oglethorpe Hill Chapel. Rev. Julie Huston officiating.

Interment in Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 1925 Century Blvd., N.E.,Suite 110, Atlanta, GA 30345. Arrangements made by H.M. Patterson & Son Oglethorpe Hill. 404-261-3510.
