Bonnie L. Walker, 85, of Olney and formerly of West Liberty, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Burgin Manor in Olney.

Funeral services in the Chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Bob Patterson officiating. Burial at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Bonnie was born on December 14, 1926, in Flora, the daughter of Davey and Gladys (Shreve) Moore. She married Emmett M. Walker on November 19, 1946, in Morganfield, Kentucky. He preceded her in death in 2005.

She was a member of West Liberty Methodist Church. She worked at the West Liberty Post Office as a postal clerk for many years. She also enjoyed sewing and making clothing for her grandchildren. She was a member of the West Liberty Methodist Church Women's Group. She was also a member of the Olney VFW Post # 4226 Ladies Auxiliary.

Bonnie is survived by two sons, David Monroe Walker, and his wife, Susan, of Noble, and Dennis Joe Walker, and his wife, Patti, of West Liberty; one daughter, Jackie Scott, and her husband, Bernard, of Dundas; brother, Robert Moore, and his wife, Barb, of Fairfield; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Davey and Gladys Moore, husband, Emmett, sister, Norma Jean Oliver, and brother, George Moore.
