Bernard E. Crawford age 80, of Trenton, Fla. and formerly of East Canton passed away peacefully at Columbia Hospital in West Palm Beach, Fla. on Oct. 19, 2010. He was born March 29, 1930 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Raymond and Edna (Hogue) Crawford. Bernard served in the United States Air force for four years, He was a former employee for Ford Motor Company Motor Company, Canton Forge Plant. He was a member of the U.A.W local 542 and Minerva First Presbyterian Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Celesta Crawford; son, Dennis Crawford; and daughter, Deborah Crawford. He is survived by his daughter, Dru (Dave) Martinkovic of West Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Carrie (Matt) Cowgill of Delaware, Ohio, Amy (Tom) Bensen of Delaware Ohio, Jason (Amy) Martinkovic of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Stephen Martinkovic of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six great-grandchildren, Mason and Jackson Cowgill, Reagan and Madison Bensen, Hailey and Riley Martinkovic; half-brother, Tom (Paula) Crawford of Augusta, Ohio.
A graveside service will be held on Nov. 6, 2010 at 11 a.m. in Liberty Cemetery near Minerva. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
